The 2027 Ram 1500 builds on its reputation with robust engine options, an upscale cabin and a gamut of safety tech for outdoor escapades.
This full size pickup truck is available in Tradesman, Express, Black Express, Warlock, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, RHO, Limited and Tungsten trims.
The new Ram 1500 TRX SRT comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that generates 777 hp and 680 Ib-ft of torque. Ram’s TRX SRT is the most powerful gas-powered half-ton pickup truck on the road and an excellent choice for drivers looking to take their adventures into challenging terrain.

Under the Hood
The standard 3.6-liter V6 produces 305 hp and 269 Ib-ft of torque, while an available 5.7-liter V8 delivers 395 hp and 410 Ib-ft of torque.
Ram’s 1500 Rebel is powered by a 3.0-liter engine that generates 420 hp and 469 Ib-ft of torque. The RHO uses a High-Output variant of the same engine to deliver 540 hp and 521 Ib-ft of torque. Both engines give the Ram 1500 a maximum towing capacity of 11,530 pounds–capable of hauling travel trailers, boats and campers with ease.
The standard V6 offers a maximum payload capacity of 2,340 pounds, sufficient for conveying camping equipment and recreational gear.
Selectable drive modes optimize the Ram’s 1500 adaptability to different driving conditions. Auto balances traction and comfort for everyday driving. Sport mode enhances throttle and steering response on winding roads.
Tow mode provides additional control and braking support when hauling heavy loads. Drivers can also opt for Snow and Off-road settings for better stability in difficult terrain.
An available Four-Corner Active Level Air Suspension system automatically adjusts the truck’s ride height. At highway speeds, the system lowers the Ram 1500 to reduce wind resistance and improve efficiency. When additional ground clearance is required, the system elevates the truck to navigate tough terrain.
Comfort and Convenience
Entry-level amenities of the 2027 Ram 1500 include an 8.4-inch multimedia touchscreen, 12-inch digital instrument cluster, multiple USB charging ports, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and a six-speaker audio system.
Additional features available on higher trims are a 14.5-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch front passenger interactive display, dual wireless charging pads and power-adjustable front seats with memory and massage functions.
The Tungsten trim is fitted with an exclusive 23-speaker boom box. The Limited offers heated and ventilated reclining rear seats for first-class comfort.
A cargo management system provides lockable storage for tools, sport equipment and other valuables. An on-board power feature provides 2,000 watts of electricity through two 120-volt outlets for powering small tools and small appliances.
The 60/40 split-swing away tailgate design makes loading and unloading convenient. An LED Walk-Up Animation illuminates the truck as the driver approaches which makes it easier to locate the vehicle in low-light conditions.
Other convenience features include a 360-degree Surround View Camera that provides a bird’s eye view around the truck and an integrated Trailer Health Monitor that identifies issues while towing.
